Resources: Dreameaver, and Photoshop

Time: How long will it take to complete?

The total time it will take to Complete the Zen Garden assignment will be at least a month.

Money:  The amount of money you will be charging, as well as spending?

In this project no money will be charged, and also no money will be spent.

Energy: Your energy, do you have the ability to complete the job?

I do have the ability to complete the job, using everything I know in web I will create an awesome project.

Talent (People):Who are your resources? Are your skillsets enough to finish the requirements? Do you need to outsource?

My sources will be, from a web site which as given the assignment called a zen garden challenge, my resources will be looking at other people's websites and seeing how they were able to complete the challenge and make mine even better. As far as my skillsets are concerned Prof. Gohman has it covered, every week up until the due date he will teach me new things making my skillset even better. I will not need to outsource.

Skills/Techniques: Skills and techniques, much like Talent is the equivelent to programs and knowledge of Design. What Skills and techniques are needed to complete the assignment?

As stated before, I will use all that I know in dreamweaver and in photoshop to make this project turn out better than anyone else's in my class.

Materials/Supplies:Do you have the materials to complete the assignment?

Yes, I have the materials to complete the assignment, again the two programs being used are dreamweaver and photoshop, both making a killer combo to having my project look dynamic.

Additional Considerations:

Technology :  What technology will you be implementing? Is this the best technology for whats being asked of you?

Again, dreamweaver is going to be used to make the website and photoshop is going to be used to handle all the graphic items required. Along, with CSS's being created to help me out in making my job eaiser.

Human Factor : Considering how the human interacts with the design or object. If you do not take this into consideration your design will fail regardless of how well it looks.

My goal for the human factor is to make it simple and clean and elegant looking, along with following the guidelines established, for the challenge.

Visual Appeal : Aesthetics. $70,000.00 is a lot of money done in MS Word – why is it not appealing as long as the information is there. Info is not enough – Corps. Spend a great deal of money on appeal of information. People are attracted to things that look good. Why does Playboy make sure there is an image on the cover? Why not just their logo? Playboy is all about the visual. Brand name labels – function vs. form. Necessity vs. Identity. Do you need a Nike sweater to stay warm, or will any Sweater do. The plain sweater functions and serves its purpose however, the human appeal has to be factored in. People swarm to what looks good, the trends etc. Which is why we have a job.

Projects made in Microsoft Word generally seem to come out boring because, the program is not designed to create designer looking pieces of work. Instead, the program is used to create word processing documents Hence the name "Microsoft Word". Playboy makes sure there is an image on their cover because, in a very simple way "sex sells" meaning that they put on an attractive image and people are drawn to pick it up and buy it, because of the way the magazine looks, aside from everyone knowing the playboy logo, certain elements in design help make things look better.

What exactly are you being asked to do? You must understand all facets of what is being asked of you.

I am being asked to create a single webpage using CSS's to the extreme, with one catch.... I am to use the guidelines of Cross Platform for browsers, for example, I am going to have to make sure the website can run on Safari, Internet Explorer, and Firefox, and have it all working in the same exact order to where there isn't any type of problems, also I will be using PHP if there is going to be any use of Dynamic HTML.
